The Challenge

Ana Rita Gonzalez, The founder of Policy Wisdom, leads a company dedicated to creating and managing public health and health policy.

Her team developed children's books “Athena’s Adventures In Health Policy“ to educate youth on public health and health policy. She needed someone to sell the books and build brand awareness to spread their mission.

Our Process

Analysis

I received a schedule of each book's launch dates and created a yearly strategy based on public health themes.

This strategy highlighted the types of books to emphasize and planned launches tailored to specific categories and demographics.

For each theme, I focused on creating clear graphic headlines as well as one-liners for the first sentence of the caption, knowing that this would attract consumers who engage with that content.

In addition to month-to-month posts, I also planned and executed book launches. Each launch was tailored to the target age group of the book. Throughout the year, I highlighted upcoming releases.

Results

I positioned Policy Wisdom to use social media as another revenue source to announce the launch of their books. Within the first month, they were able to sell 68 books with their first book launch.
